Cashmere Mafia

I have blogged about this before and here I am doing it again. From the producers of Sex and the City; Cashmere Mafia is awesome.

Take a look at this.

Fierce, I’m telling you. Somehow, I find smart, fierce and strong woman appealing. Very amusing to watch.

Seriously, I am watching every episode twice. Up to only four right now but the impeccable dressing sense itself is worth watching over and over again.

My favorite? Juliette of course. I have this thing for red heads. Just like Bree.

Just saying…

Now that I am so used to two screens; I wonder how will I ever survive with one from now on?

You mean I can’t blog while I watch Cashmere Mafia?

You mean no Facebook-ing while I check out YouTube?

Just as Good if not Better

Dear fellow vegetarians,

If you look hard at the frozen section, please keep an eye for Fry’s products. They actually do have a selection of pretty impressive food, frozen of course.

For example,

This smashing vegetarian sausage actually taste better than the real one. Loves it.

I even used it for pizza night. (Which will be blogged about much later)

And the vegetarian burger that taste insanely believable as meat.

I had to double check the ingredients twice to check if there were meat in it. Of course they were both suitable for vegans too. The burger taste mad with bagel + avocado spread.

Perfect pick me up

This song is so addictive and it has been on high rotation repeat mode on my play list.

Definitely a perfect pick me up for days so blue like these.

P/s: Vintage J.Lo anyone?

Vegetarian friendly

See. This is prove that we don’t eat only boring food. Sometimes we are allowed to spoil ourselves with pan-fried stuff too (just remember in moderation).

These are the vegetable pumpkin patties to die for. I absolutely loved loved loved these patties. It is absolutely a breeze to make and can store up to 3 days before cooking.

Yummy factor was 11 out of 10. It was that good.

It is not the end of the world

Since turning vegetarian, I have been trying out so many different dishes that I would never usually try.

For example, have you heard of pumpernickel? Bet you haven’t.

It is a wholegrain, fat free, organic and healthy way to eat bread. I use it for my avocado spread, my salad, my mashed banana breakfast.

In short, my everyday snacks.

However, the taste might not appeal to everyone. So far 3 person hated the taste of it.

But for health’s sake, I reckon it doesn’t taste all that bad.

Game Time

Namco Museum Remix

Pros:

  • Plenty of modernized childhood game to reminisce on.
  • I especially loved Pac’n Roll Remix. The rolling Pac-man was different from the usual ones we play with.
  • There were also many multi player games up to 4 person to choose from.
  • Motion control was fairly easy and this is a no-brainier game. Everyone has at least played pac mac at some point of their life.

Cons:

  • As like any other mini-games compilation; it gets bored pretty quick.
  • 9 games were actually not enough to choose from considering only a few of them were addictive.

Game play: 5/10
Control: 8/10

Not forgotten

Here are some goodies that I’ve baked up some time ago. From now on, I will post the recipes only when it is requested on comment. Saves all the trouble.

Feel free to drop a comment if you want the recipe.

Banana and walnut Loaf

Love them California walnuts.

Parmesan Spiral rolls. I know it doesn’t look very appealing but it is actually very peppery and cheesy. Thumbs up for a quick snack.

Deep fried Sweet Potato balls with sesame seeds

Chicken Cigar

p/s: These were all made before I turned into a vegetarian. Thus, I believe the chicken cigar is non-vegetarian.
