Physician Formula claims to have infused these products with happy boost blend to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. While the scent is very uplifting and floral to the nose upon application, I didn’t find these to provide me a huge difference in term of mood lifting. Regardless, both of these products are definitely worth a trial as they are great as a product on its own.
All products are paraben free, non comedogenic, dermatologist approved and hypoallergenic.
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder in Translucent
This translucent powder did look a little scary at the beginning as I didn’t want to look too “brown”, “shiny” or too unnatural to my skin tone, after a couple of swirl on a brush and buff on my face, I am happy to report that this did not turn me brown.
The powder is smooth and blends into my natural skin tone and surprisingly the colours complement each another really well and the small little pink heart doubles as a blush that gives the cheeks a healthy pop or colour. I do however find that when I am blending this powder, I try to avoid the pink heart bit to avoid my face gets a red tint all over.
This Face Powder comes in four different shades.
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush
I have this in #Rose – a flower I hold dearly to my heart. So the rose name & violet scent is already a winner in my heart. You simply can’t go wrong with rose and the same goes with the classic 2.55 Chanel flap.
The different shades of pink and red gives skin a fresh mix of blush tones that creates a healthy glow.
While this blush contains multi-reflective pearls, it doesn’t look overtly shiny or shimmery. Instead the different shades of blush tones helps to add dimension to the cheeks/cheekbones. You also have the option to highlight or contour but I am rubbish at that so I’d swirl everything together, tap off excess and buff over my cheeks.
