When I was traveling in Paris, I was practically staying 5 minutes walk from Sephora. Being in Paris, I knew I had to pick up something from Chanel even though most of the collection in Sephora didn’t exactly pique my fancy. As I am a fan of non-glossy lipsticks, I picked up Rouge Allure Velvet aka Chanel Luminous Matte Lip Colour.

It’s matte but non-drying and the colour pigment is impressive (not OTT bold). Definitely one of the best ‘matte’ lipstick I have tried because it doesn’t crack, dry out or peel on my drying lips. Packaging wise it’s classic Chanel, oozing understated elegance.

The perfect pink/red shade that is not quite pink or red. Love it!
