Just when the Australian market has finally picked up the BB cream craze (albeit 5 years too late), there’s now the new and improved version of BB cream making the rounds in the South East market known as the CC cream.
You see BB cream was originally formulated in Germany and Korea/Japan has now developed the new and improved version – CC cream. For years, people have raved about BB cream popular for its ability to treat, protect and conceal skin at the same time without suffocating it. However, one of the key problem with BB cream (mostly formulate in SE market) was too pale or often appear too grey-ish for people’s liking.
The CC cream corrects that along with ability for more effective skin coverage. Of course CC cream will continue to have broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, lighter texture than BB cream and a less oily finish (rejoice oily skin ladies!).

At time of my posting, there aren’t many CC cream available in the SE market and prepare for a full blast launch of CC cream in the market in the near future. That being said, the existing few in the market like Chanel CC (Complete Correction) cream, Rachel K CC cream (utilizing mineral ingredients) and Missha (BB cream front runner) and a few other brands that I’ve not heard of before carries it. In the name of research, I of course have been doing extensive research online and is determined to hunt down a few so I can blog about it.

The way I see it, this won’t be the last you’ll hear of CC cream from me.

Great article, unfortunately my skin does not take well to BB creams, they all seem to break me out.
Hopefully CC creams will be much better for my skin! You’ve certainly made it seem very enticing.
