Ah Chanel, you are many things. You are amazing with your leather goods, your les 4 ombres and your illusion d’ombres. When it comes to Chanel Le Vernis, I am not sure if I am convinced 100%. In the past, I much prefer other luxury brands like Dior and YSL over Chanel for nail polishes. I find the brush application pale in comparison to others and the colours are often a little “too safe”.

If you are a fan of “safe” colours, I am sure you’ll find yourself attracted to Chanel nail polishes. Today I will be swatching Chanel Le Vernis #543 Frisson.

I needed 2-3 even layers for an even coat. Frisson is a soft shimmery baby pink that surprisingly compliments my skin tone really well. Something I personally find it hard to get right when it comes to pale nail polishes and my skin colour. With top coat applied, this polish lasted one full week.
