A while ago, I bought some Jill Stuart make up from Taiwan. I’ve been loving their blushes and of course their elegant and pretty packaging. This is my first time dabbing into their eye make up and boy am I in love. I’ve always chosen liquid eye liner over gel eye liner because to me liquid eye liners are more convenient and they come in one pencil without having to fiddle with brushes like a gel liner requires.
Having said that, I’ve recently read a review about how Korean eye liners are often the blackest of black with a matte finish and to achieve this matte finish you can only get them from gel liners. Liquid eye liners are great and all but often comes with a shiny finish. As you can see in my swatch above, this gel liner is really BLACK and it starts off with being wet but dries off matte.
The eye liner brush that comes in my pack is retractable and is quite easy to use in terms of lining my lash line, however I find this not fine enough to draw flicks. I am still sticking with angled brushes for gel liner application because they are way easier to draw flicks.
