Please be patient with me while I fix the issue and hopefully can resume blogging real soon.

So many ways! My baked white chocolate cheesecake is always a hit at Christmas. Mars Bar slice is a big hit with the kids at Christmas too. I also normally set up the fondue fountain and a plate of strawberries, bananas, apple, pineapple, marshmallows, apricots, watermelon cherries and any other fruit we have in the house. Delicious and healthy.

2) Rebecca Yu

We actually get an assortment of chocolates and attach little ribbon/string on them to place on our christmas tree like baubles. Then on Christmas day we get to eat them together whilst unwrapping presents! That way we share the chocolates as well as the joy of putting them up in christmas spirit as a family

3) Lynne Lillington

I have a train set that goes around my room, I fill it with chocolates and with the remote I stop at each person to pick a treat.

I have sent an email to all the winners and please be in touch with your best postal address.

Sponsored Post: What I do for a living and how do I juggle between blogging + Giveaway

Besides “What do you do as a blogger?” I often get asked if I am a full time blogger. When it comes to my private life, let’s just say I am very consistent in keeping the private bits private. If I can help it I try my best not to plaster my face all over my blog/twitter/instagram on a regular basis and or share titbits about my work and my personal life over the internet.

Now this may also be the reason why so many people including friends are under the impression that I write for a magazine, sell beauty products, work as a beauty agent (weird I know!) and even a makeup artist.

Just to put it out there once and for all my full time job has got nothing to do with beauty. In short, I work in advertising specifically in digital in a digital agency and have been for the last couple of years. I am also well aware that a lot of my clients, colleagues, people that I deal with are on Twitter and are very social; I suppose this is also one of the reasons why I am adamant to keep my private and blogging persona separate.

Admittedly, juggling between a full time job, blogging consistently (7 days) and having a social life is a bit of a struggling act. If you add in exercise, reading (I love reading!), watching movies/series, walking Belle into the equation, sleeping 8 hours a day is a luxury.

To have a balanced life it requires dedicated organisation skills on my part or have a trusty calender or two or maybe a couple. I have one for work, one for my personal life, one at home for our social life and one for my blog. I guess you get the drill with how things work over here, me constantly meeting deadlines and being ping-ed for my next appointment or a reminder of things to do. Story of my life.

After having been doing this for years, one learns how to manage time wiser and shave off unnecessary time in my day if I can help it. Lately, I have been getting my dinners sorted for weeknights from Birds Eye.

All it takes is 2.5 minutes in the microwave to perfectly cook my 2 out of 5 serve of veges and around 5 minutes to cook the fish fillets. I love this no brainer option to pop the individual bags (no piercing required) into the microwave (no mess!) when I get home and most importantly it is affordable! No more nasty take-outs for a healthier change!

These days all I need is a freezer, a microwave and a pair of scissors to prepare dinner. Awesome isn’t it?

Each Birds Eye vegetable pack comes in 4 individual pouches that are delicious and easy to prepare. You can choose from all of these below options so you’ll pretty much never get sick of the same variety.

  • Carrot, Cauliflower and Broccoli
  • Carrots, Peas and Corn
  • Broccoli, Corn, Peas and Green beans
  • Cauliflower, Green Beans and Julienne Carrots
  • Corn, Cauliflower, Broccoli and Sugar Snap Peas
  • Carrot, Peas, Baby Corn and Water Chestnuts

Similar to the Birds Eye vegetables, the fish variety (comes in two fillet in a box) cooks to perfection every time in the microwave and is heart tick approved and is 97% fat free (bonus!). They come in really generous sized fillets and you can pick from these flavours. May I add that there are no signs of fishy taste with these as well!

  • Lemon & Parsley
  • Garlic & Spring Onion
  • Thai Coconut Curry

Personally, my favourite combos are the Birds Eye SteamFresh Vegetables 600g in Broccoli, Corn, Peas and Green beans ($3.67) + Birds Eye SteamFresh Fish 360g in Lemon & Parsley ($7.74). Just add quinoa for the perfect healthy dinner meal.

GIVEAWAY: I am giving away 1 x $250 Coles voucher (groceries sorted!) imagine all the fish and vege you can buy and 1 x $100 Kikki K voucher (so you can be all decked out to pencil in and plan out your meal options).

To enter my competition, tell me what is your best time saving tip that helps you to shave off precious time in your daily life?
