By the same guy appeared in Night at the Museum 2, Tropic Thunder, Knocked Up, Fan Boys, you’re guaranteed heaps of laughter and hilarious puns. As a female species, I have to admit I love me some sweet romantic comedy and this is definitely listed as one of the top ones.
Overall, the movie was pretty fast paced, carries the geek vs beauty theme really well and I couldn’t stop staring at Molly (the female protagonist) who appears to be flawless in every single scene. Not to mention walking on those painful looking skyscraper heels and working it like it’s no big deal.
If you’re looking for good fun, good laugh for both the ladies and the boys; this will give you nothing but sore cheeks to go home with!

Oh my god, we were so stoked for this movie to come out. We have been watching the trailers for a long time now and have been LOOKING FORWARD to watch it for the longest time. Needless to say, when we were invited for the preview screening we were jumping in joy. (Please excuse us for this insanity because we love our Zombies and we most certainly love our comedies.)
Living up to its hype, Zombieland was quick paced, funny, satisfying (with all the Zombie killing), good action (how cool was it to see Columbus whack #406?), constantly delivering good laughs and quirky styled.
Woody Harrelson + Jessie Eisenberg were clearly stand outs in the movie and pleasantly surprised to see Bill Murray in it too!!
Strongly recommend to watch this if you like your Zombies or for a good laugh! Well done!

You know you can count on Michael Moore for eye opening movies. He’s done it again this time with Capitalism: A Love Story. Already ranking in with good reviews around the world, this is the movie to look out for this November.
Michael Moore brings us into a journey into the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans. From Middle America, to the halls of power in Washington, to the Global epicenter in Manhattan, Michael Moore once again takes us into the uncharted territory of Wall Street.
Personally, I find this movie very informative, has a good sense of humour and brutally honest. The class system of the society, the segregation among the poor and the rich and the unfair treatments to the helpless is a reality that is constantly around us but many turns a blind eye to.
We should never stop learning and we should never be ignorant to what’s going on around the world.
Much like the same effect of The Cove; this documentary will change the way you spend and view Wall Street forever.

As previewed in Screamfest back at 2007, this move was bought by movie studios and filmed across cinemas in USA this year. A lot people has since compared it with Blair Witch project because of its similarity in being low budget. Personally, I think this one triumphs Blair Witch project big time.
Simply even though it was fictional, this one was believable, very realistic (at most parts) and gave us chills and goosebumps. The story was simple, straight forward, no bullshitting parts and contains quite a fair bits of action, which is what we always look forward to in a horror movie.
Definitely recommend this movie to anyone who love horror movies and is in dire need for a horror kick because honestly speaking there hasn’t been any good horror movies of late.

500 Days of Summer was advertised as ‘not your typical romantic story’ and indeed it wasn’t. It is about a tale where a boy meets a girl and you should know upfront, this is not a love story.
This movie is about relationship and the fear of relationships that many people goes through these days. This movie is about the reality of how relationships happen and end.
The message of this movie is raw, honest and beautiful. It helps to have such a beautiful girl like Zooey Deschanel as the main protagonist as well. I find it somewhat comedic, somewhat whimsical and somewhat longing for happiness for the boy throughout the movie.
To read a detailed review from Sundance Review of 500 Days of Summer.
And, here is the official website for the movie.

Let me just begin with how powerful this movie is. Many a times I had constant tears in my eyes and my body involuntarily keeps holding back those awful tears so hard it hurts.
This documentary is superb in every possible level. From the advocates of anti-dolphin captivate, the process of planning equipments into Japan, the detailed mouse-and-cat chase with the Japanese fisherman and the mutual bond for nature’s fisheries wellbeing.
To me, this eco-documentary was a wake up call and a valuable chance of seeing something the whole world is trying so hard to hide from. Seeing dolphins being slaughtered the way they did was absolutely revolting. Hearing the Japanese labeling dolphins as pest was just sickening. Seeing dolphins commiting suicide, spiralling into depression and developing mouth ulcer because of the limited space in the captive tank and repeating tricks over and over again in amusement park like SeaWorld was plain disgusting.
Remember to wear waterproof mascara if you were to go watch this movie; actually scratch that go without eye makeup it’ll get ruin regardless.

If you think Borat was full on; be prepare for Bruno because its full frontal, vulgar and politically incorrect. However, Bruno somehow made it all watchable and hilarious.
No doubt this movie and Bruno himself is going to be viral and plenty of people will start showing up in Bruno inspired outfits in parties and whatnot.
Bruno will be out in cinemas this Thursday onwards. Run, don’t walk.
