Because of time constrain

I won’t be cooking up a storm for Christmas this year. Strangely though, I felt a little weird for not cooking turkey, ham and the lot. Without my immediate family around for the 5th time in a row; I guess I will have to get use to celebrating festive seasons without family members around.

In times like these, we should totally take the opportunity and take a short holiday break or hit the spa. Only problem is Ryan & family is coming tomorrow to visit Melbourne. I suppose it doesn’t hurt to be tour guide during Christmas.

For the time being:

Chocolates, checked.
Poppycock, checked.
Desserts, checked.
Love from family & friends, checked.

If I am not back by tomorrow, Merry Christmas and stay safe people.

Xoxo,
Val

In times of need, I am glad to see who my true friends are.
People are like papers; too easy to read.

Christmasy Post

Christmas is coming soon and of course it is never too early to start thinking of what you want, what to buy for others and what not.

I have been lusting over this Blackberry Bold since its launch in Australia. Only problem was that as much as I love it, deep down inside I still very much prefer flip phones.

That’s of course my prayers has been answered with this newly launched Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220.

Now, the question is when is it coming to Australia?

Not Addicted

It has been MONTHS since I burnt my leg. No amount of heeling gel/blister pads/rosehip oil/bio oil/aloe vera gel/vitamin c oil/vitamin e serum/bb cream/scrubs could heal the scar that has gradually become an eye sore to me.

The scar looks as fresh as it has been recent but I swear all the discoloration is coming from underneath the skin. The scar is baby smooth to touch because of all the stuff that I have been rubbing religious into for months. I guess I should be grateful for the small little scabs around the main blister has completely heeled.

For this very reason, I have been shying away from my heels/shopping for shoes/looking down on my feet. I have been covering my feet with boots all winter long. While it does not look half as bad on these pictures, the scar actually look 10x more darker/angrier in person and this has been slowly killing me.

So it got me thinking….

Maybe, just maybe I should do something about it?
Consequently, I am starting to consider foot tattoo. It feels and seems right for me to get one to cover up this flaw. I went on a foot tattoo research hunt and found out that the foot is the most painful place to tattoo. They take longer (up to 3 months) to heal completely, has more chances of infection, more inconvenient and they blur more easily.

While many people I know kept telling me how tattoos are so addictive. For me, tattoo is not about an addictive issue. It is more about a certain mile stone/achievement/reminder for myself. Not so much as an exhibitionist; it is something rather personal and means something dearly to me.

I am thinking of getting some work done on my right feet; something to do with some pink stargazer lilies. I felt it right as soon as I saw this picture. What can I say? I am a sucker for lilies.

Summer is coming up and it is just about the right time to get one. Seems like everything has panned out to how it is meant to be. Should I listen to all these little voices in my head?

P/S: Here’s a list of pretty celebrities with horrible tattoos. Most of them have ugly tattoo anyway.

Spring

I love spring. Spring is my favorite season. Spring fashion is the best and spring is the time for love and moi birthday. Spring makes me happy. Spring makes me want to dress up in pretty flowy dresses and layers. Spring makeup is oh-so fresh. Spring makes flower blooms and makes me want to lay on the filthy grass. Spring brings on new seasons of all my favorite shows. Spring makes me what to munch on sushi and ice cream. Spring makes me want to spread some love and most importantly…

Spring makes me want to forget about all my worries and be carefree.

For Once

I have been on the look out for a nice sized bag for some time now. Sweeping through magazines, online blogs, shops, forums… and it is about time for me to find one that I really like.

See, the thing about me is; I am very picky. I don’t want bags that are too small, stamped with logo, I don’t want something everyone else is carrying and most importantly I want something that is timeless.

One that can see me through days where my bag is over filling, see me through plane ride, see me through shopping, or just plain pretty and simple.

So here it is, the very classy looking…

Burberry – Belted Leather Tote

Looking good for my ever expanding makeup bag that I drag around me each day. Most important, it is reasonably cheap too. (last I’ve checked online) But I doubt it’ll be cheap over here in Melbourne every thing is relatively 20% more pricier. With our strong currency perhaps I should purchase this online?

Never thought I would ever say this

I never liked cats. Everyone who know me knows that I hate cats. Dislike them. Never did and never will. Not until now…

I have no clue what breed they are but I desperately want one. What’s wrong with all these pig/cat desires? Maybe my kangaroo is big enough to have companies?

I am shocked. Le garçon went internet scouring for my pet pig addiction. He actually took the initiative to look it up, research and to hunt for breeders. I am surprised. Pig or cat now?

I think the major question is: Which one will go along with Belle better?
