All time classic. This moisturiser/sunscreen keeps skin hydrated, evens out skin tone and protects skin from day to day sun exposure.
Clarins Sun Control Cream High Protection for Face SPF15 Â Â Â
RRP AUD$40
I am a firm believer of using a separate sunscreen even though my moisturiser, primer, foundation and make up contains sunscreen. A stand alone sunscreen (with UVA/UVB protection of course) will deliver the full potency of sun protection without being diluted with other ingredients. Clarins does a great one with great day-to-day sun protection minus the grease and stickiness. Great for all skin types.
Clarins After Sun Moisturiser Ultra Hydrating   Â
RRP AUD$42
After a day of sun exposure an after sun moisturiser is just what you need to keep skin glowy, well hydrated (soothing) and non flaky. This After Sun Moisturiser helps to revitalize skin and prolong your tan. While it is important to keep skin protected from the sun, people often neglect the after sun part, this product helps to protect skin against free radicals that can damage the skin long after sun exposure. Gotta love the sunflower extracts, mimosa tenuiflora, watermelon extract (YUM), cardamom extract and shea butter for a radiance glow.

Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant is an award winning scrub that has been voted by beauty editors and celebrities locally and abroad. This product is quick becoming a cult favourite and is rightfully one of the bestselling Dermalogica product. It is also part of Dermalogica’s FITE program.
It contains rice bran, grapefuit oil, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, licorice root extract, salicylic acid, tea tree oil, green tea, colloidal oatmeal that works very gently to exfoliate the skin daily.
The content of the scrub is 100% dry and comes in white powder form. Upon contact with water (just 2-3 drops of water will do), it releases papain, salicylic acid and rice enzymes that exfoliates dead cells, instantly leaving skin baby smooth, visibly brighter and balances skin overall pigmentation.
Best of it all? It doesn’t leave skin tight, red or uncomfortable and it is suitable for all skin types even for sensitive skin. Apart from finding it hard to have the right powder versus water ratio; I find this scrub works really well on my skin especially around the nose and chin/jaw areas (I pay special attention to these areas to ensure thorough exfoliation) and have witness a visible reduce of blackheads.
This product reminds me of Kose Sekkisei’s White Powder Wash (which also won plenty of awards in the Asian beauty market). I will do a review on this in the near future.

Mask really do make a difference to the face. Ask any celebrities and they’ll tell you that all those nifty masks are the secret to glowing/clear/healthy/plump skin at all the red carpet events.
They are plenty of mask out there. Detoxifying, hydrating, brightening/whitening and firming/lifting. These mask are almost suitable for just about everyone.
Of course there are others like peeling, exfoliating and etc. These should be use with cautious depending on your skin condition.
Some of my all time favorite mask includes SKII’s Brightening Sheet Mask, Dermalogica’s Multivitamin Masque, Missha’s Vital Effect Extra Collagen Mask, InEssence Moisturizing Mask & Missha’s Peeling Gel.
It is recommended to do as many moisturizing/hydrating mask a week as you like.
I have oily combination skin and I do 3-4 hydrating mask a week and it works wonder to my face without breaking it out. On top of that, the next day my T-zone is less likely to be shiny or oily because the skin is well moisturize hence less production of oil.
On top of that, I do one detoxifying mask, 1-2 exfoliating, 1-2 brightening mask a week depends on how busy I am.
Combined with a simple daily 4 step beauty routine; you’ll be surprise to see the result on your face. Because I am.
This Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque is one of the best moisturizing and replenishing mask I have tried by far. It is legendary famous and was swear by celebrities.
I felt a tingling sensation while I was waiting for the mask to dry up. However, there was no red spots or irritation to the skin.
It is great for sensitive skin and also soften up my skin for days.
Loves it! However, it can be quite pricey as I have the tendency to overkill in using something I love.
A must-have for my beauty cabinet from now on.
