With the new year, we also saw L’Occitane releasing new packaging for their existing Lavende collection. This collection is known for the ability to reduce anxiety, ease stress and promote a good night’s sleep. Great for people like me who shower before bed.
Lavender Shower Gel RRP AUD$28 / Lavender Body Massage Gel RRP AUD$38
Body Gel and Shower Gel are like butter and toast. It is important to keep skin moisturised after shower to replenish any lost nutrition to the skin. L’Occitane Lavender Shower Gel is enriched with lavender essential oil that not only cleanses the skin but also leaves it lightly perfumed with L’Occitane’s signature Provincial lavender.
I especially love the Body Massage Gel, it is rich but due to its smooth jelly like texture makes massaging a breeze. Personally, I love massaging post shower to help boost circulation and keep skin well moisturised at the same time. The L’Occitane Body Massage Gel also comes with the relaxing aromatic scent of lavender that prolongs the scent from the shower gel.
Lavender Hand Cream RRP AUD$28 (75ml)
One of L’Occitane best selling product is their hand creams. Naturally, this hand cream combines the benefits of shea butter and lavender essential oil to keep paws well moisturised and a great addition for hand bag or desk side. If you’re a fan of the relaxing lavender scent, you’ll love this.

Thank god for this L’occitane’s heavenly scented tact free powder for all the past hot, sweaty nights. The smell of cherry blossom is mind-blowingly good and tact free powder means guaranteed no clogged pores.
The very light sparkle in this light powder is enough to make one feel princess-y.
Especially great for summer days.

This moisturizer from L’occitane named Precious Fluid is a white watery moisturizer that miraculously transform into powdery soft texture once you rubbed it on your face. It also has this light scent that I couldn’t quite describe it. Try it and you’ll know what I’m saying.
What makes this so special is that it is one of the best seller in the house. It is also great for spring and summer weather. It doesn’t make your face oily and it adsorbs into the skin perfectly and is great for normal to combination skin like mine.
I was chatting with a make-up artist, Terri from Bobbi Brown the other day. She told me how Asians don’t really need too much highlighter on their face as it adds shine. And believe me, we do not want shine.
We want nicely sculptured face and cheekbones and well moisturized skin with no extra shine on the unnecessary areas as it can be extremely unflattering.
That is why we should change our skincare products according to seasons and it is time to get on a lighter moisturizer yet still does it job.
Today, I have another L’Occitane product to review. As we age, our skin changes. One of the most notable change for me, is that my skin becomes more sensitive and is more prone to redness around the cheek. In short, I’ve grown out of acne skin and have landed in sensitive skin land.
This Honey Face Cream is a daily moisturizing cream that smells like honey and royal jelly. Personally, I think it smells a little funny, not enough to turn me off the entire product, but it just smells funny that I can’t quite pinpoint the scent.
The cream also has some ingredients that fights free radicals and protects the face from aggressive external elements. You know all the junk and pollutions can does harm on your skin too.
So far, I find that the cream is very hydrating and soothing for my very irritated skin and it also freshen the skin up a little bit. As it is a little thicker than I’d like it to be, so I’ve decided to use it as my night-only moisturizer. Usually, I’d slab on a thick layer at night and let it do its wonder during my sleep. Every morning, I am guaranteed with baby ass soft skin. I like.
I think this is 43 licks.
L’occitane came out with this new Apple and Almond range roughly about 2 months ago and I decided to choose the Sweet Peel and give it a go. Since I am running out of scrub so it is about time to get a new one.
The smell was fantastic, very sweet, in fact so sweet so that I was tempted to lick the bottle.
The scrub does what it says. Exfoliates well, refines my skin texture makes it appear firmer and tightens the pores are the same time.
Surprisingly while it does all it says, it doesn’t feel harsh on the skin as well. It feels very moisturizing while I was scrubbing impurities away.
Best of all, my skin haven’t felt this soft for ages. You know how some times when you’ve done doing a mask and when you touch your skin and it feels so soft? Well this makes it 10 times softer and I still get that soft feeling when I wake up the next day.
I’ve been using it for almost a month now and I’m loving it.
Definitely the best scrub I’ve tried by far.
Roughly 50 licks.
