Rimmel recently launched a new lash plumping mascara – the Scandaleyes Mascara. Comes in a huge orange tube, quite hard to miss in a make up bag. There’s only one word to describe the applicator wand, it’s MASSIVE. L’Oreal previously released a mascara similar to this mascara and I didn’t like it this time around let’s see how this one fare.
As you can see the mascara brush has max density, it’s bigger than the mascaras that I am used to. I can see how this wand picks up all lashes long/short but it also has the tendency to get messy if you have really short and sparse lashes because chances are you’ll get the mascara bits onto the lids. So this mascara is definitely a great choice for ladies with long lashes..
The formula is injected with collagen and keratin that promises to keep lashes strong, healthy and plumped while delivering volume and curve to lashes. The finish of this mascara is wet and upon drying it doesn’t make my lashes look dry and crunchy (which I hate alot of volumising mascara tend to make lashes look so).
If you have medium to long lashes and want abit of a lift and volume, this is definitely the mascara for you.

We all know Lancome is the best selling luxury mascara brand, simply because they are so good at what they do! This month, Lancome launched the new Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara. The mascara comes in Lancome’s signature mascara packaging – sturdy, hand friendly with a click-lock cap.
This mascara promises to boost volume, extend the length of lashes and to create the doll eye/wide eye effect. Excited?
The pointed application wand thickens lashes immediately with just one coat and defines hard-to-reach corners effortlessly without making a mess all over the eye area. The formula of the mascara isn’t as thick and gooey as Hypnose Drama which is a bonus because it leaves lashes really defined and volumised while separating lashes at the same time.
I love how easy this mascara is to apply and how long lasting it is. No flaking, smudging and it comes off with my usual oil cleanser removal routine. No additional fuss or tugging of the lashes required! As with all Lancome mascara, this one has fragrances and smells like roses!
TIP: If you are cursed with downward lashes, you will still need to curl your lashes prior to mascara application, don’t expect miracles!
Right now, Lancome is also a running a promotion on Facebook, enter for a chance to win this mascara!

Say hello to Rimmel’s latest Extra Super Lash Mascara. One that is designed to lengthen and add volume to the lashes.
#101 Black Black
The curved brush applicator helps to comb through lashes and provides support in lifting lashes. That being said, I’d still recommend to curl your lashes first (always with a lash curler before eye makeup) and gently give it a boost by combing Extra Super Lash mascara from roots to the tip of your lashes by gently twisting the mascara wand as you go.
While removing the mascara I find this mascara quite easy to remove. It comes straight off with warm water and my regular eye makeup removal routine. So give it a try why don’t you?

After reading mixed reaction reviews about Lash Blast online, I decided to give it a go. Major disappointment.
The wand is bigger and thicker (which makes it harder to maneuver) and there are more short little bristles than usual. The bigger wand makes it really difficult to reach the ends of the lashes and the little bristles often leave me with smear marks everywhere.
On top of that, it flaked and clumped my lashes badly. (It was a brand new tube as well. Fresh out of the packaging.) Is it just me or does anyone else has this problem. While it did gave me volume albeit messy clumpy ones; I doubt I will repurchase this.
Say bonjour to Phenomen’Eyes. She is different and certainly futuristic. Can you imagine all our mascara wands are going to look like that in the future?
Apparently, this sphere designed wand helps to get the mascara into the very root of all lashes.
Leaving you with beautifully fanned out lashes. It claims to do the lot – volumizing, lengthening and curling.
I am interested to try it out and see the difference for myself when it hits our shore…. sometime later this year perhaps?
This is my current mascara obsession – Model Co – LASHXTEND. I had a sample of this clever product from one of the magazines I brought a while back, tried it and couldn’t stop gliding it over my eye lashes. Immediately, I ran out and brought a full size one or two.
This is almost identical to gloss addiction. You see girls reapplying gloss every 2 sec even when they clearly do not need it? I almost went OTT with reapplying my mascara every time I went into the toilet. Crazy huh?
I used to be all thickening, volumnizing mascara girl until I realized that when you have minimal eye lashes there really is not much to thicken and volumnize can help. In fact, it will make the eye lashes stick together and look all lonely, sparse and thinner than before. Therefore, I have since made peace with my eye lashes and promise to only stick to lengthening mascara instead.
This mascara is one of its kind and I love it for obvious reasons. It coats my lashes individually and made lashes look longer instantly, almost like an eyelash extension. And it was a breeze to wash off too.
I love it. You should try it too and see what I am raving about.
